Pancake Breakfast a Sweet Success for Student Ministry

This past Sunday, the lunchroom at Cloverleaf Elementary School was filled with the smell of pancakes, sizzling sausage, and freshly brewed coffee—and even more importantly, it was filled with generosity and community spirit.
Led by Pastor Tom and Kacie Burnett, our student ministry hosted a pancake breakfast fundraiser to support upcoming youth trips. From the early hours of setup to the final stack of plates, our students worked hard—serving food, greeting guests, and keeping everything running smoothly. Their dedication and teamwork paid off in a big way: nearly $1,200 in profits were raised to help make life-changing trips possible for our students.

A Team Effort
We couldn’t have pulled off this event without the incredible support of our church family. Special thanks go to Daryl Clark, Michael Adcock, and Skylar Massey, who spent the morning in the kitchen cooking up pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs that everyone raved about. Their hard work helped set the tone for a morning of fellowship and encouragement.

Investing in the Next Generation
Every dollar raised brings our students one step closer to youth convention, Warrior Fest, summer camp, and other ministry trips where they will encounter God in powerful ways. These opportunities not only strengthen their faith but also build lifelong friendships and spiritual foundations that last far beyond one weekend or event.

Thank You, Church Family
We are grateful for the overwhelming support from everyone who attended, donated, and prayed for our student ministry. Because of your generosity, our students are able to dream bigger and step into the calling God has on their lives.
The pancake breakfast was more than just a fundraiser—it was a beautiful picture of the church coming together to invest in the next generation. Thank you for helping us make it such a success!
