Thank You, Judy Maddox, for Three Wonderful Years of Service

This past Sunday, August 31st, marked a bittersweet day for our church family as we gathered to celebrate and honor Judy Maddox for her faithful service at New Beginnings Church Cartersville. After three years of incredible dedication, Judy is moving to North Carolina to be closer to her family. While we are excited for this new chapter in her life, we will deeply miss her presence, her leadership, and her heart for ministry.

Judy has been so much more than a ministerial assistant—she has been a pillar of our team. From preparing weekly bulletins, managing the church calendar, and organizing prayer lists, to faithfully sending out prayer communications and quietly ensuring that every detail of our church life ran smoothly, Judy has touched every corner of New Beginnings. Her ministry was behind the scenes, but its impact has been front and center.

What has made Judy’s time here so special is not only her excellence in ministry, but the warmth, compassion, and servant’s heart she brought to every task. Her steady presence and joyful spirit have been a gift to every member of our staff and congregation.

Though Sunday was her last official day serving here, this is not a goodbye—it’s a “see you later.” Judy will always be part of the NBCC family, and her legacy of faithfulness will continue to inspire us as we move forward.

We pray God’s richest blessings over Judy as she begins this next season closer to her loved ones. May He continue to use her gifts to bless others as much as she has blessed us.
